Faure: Agricultural Land

Oasis Family Fellowship has been given use of a near 2000 sq.m section of land, for the specific use of small scale agricultural development. This welcome opportunity would be taken up with a view to creating self-sustainability for the three soup kitchens which Oasis has been running.

The project is still in the process of finding establishment. At this early stage funding for a fencing around the perimeter of the property, is the most immediate requirement. Soon irrigation, seedlings and some form of outbuildings would also need to be established. The view would be to obtain a shipping container to house all equipment. The construction of a agricultural greenhouse tunnel would also be a serious consideration.

The Soup Kitchens require a constant supply of ingredients, mainly vegetables. With the advantage of a crop-yielding vegetable field to our disposal, even more such initiatives may be established.

We welcome any donations, sponsorship or support at this stage, and truly look forward to 'a community transformed' in the very near future.
